If I owned that car, I would remove that Toronado front nose and buy a Dayclona nose for it. Then it would be a great car in my opinion.

sooooo....nobody gonna answer the question WTF is up with that nose?

Maybe know one knows the answer to your question.

Interesting how these stories get started. As soon as I found out the Superbird I used to own had lived in J.J.'s "museum" for a while (after I sold it) I wondered what kind of stories were made up about it.

Yep. First pic is what it looked like when I bought it. The second is supposed to be my old bird, and is supposedly after it was bought from JJ. I sold it to a guy in Tennessee. I guess he sold it to JJ. I don't know who redid the car

Oh sure. That, and the 1 of 27 69 runner verts I had. And yeah I'd like to have them both back. Probably not gonna happen though. I posted to a wing car site or two trying to get info on the car. Whether it was still around. What condition. Never asked about it from the perspective of "I want to buy it back"

Finally someone posted that pic and said they thought it was my car (yes, I have the VIN). They thought it had gone to the east coast. North Carolina or something like that. But no one seemed to know for sure.

I bought it off a used car lot in a Dallas suburb for less than $800. Drove it home in the snow. I sold it in 1980? I think it was
