Convertible chrome trim question???

I am putting trim back on and I don't remember how this part was. It looks like there should be a peice to connect these two trim peices. Also not sure if it just screws on the top or hooks under the lip. It doesn't apperar as though it could hook under because of the 2 corner connections. Anyone have a 65 vert?

Ok, after searching the web, I found a picture showing a peice about 2" long that slides over the top of these 2 peices to connect them. I hope I have it, can't imagine I lost it, but I have misplaced several parts over the last 7 years, lol..... If anyone knows of one, let me know......Thanks!!

There should be a piece apx.1.1/4" wide to cover the ends.64 Sport Fury has it! yours should be the same.BTW your coronet is really looking great!

I have a 63 Fury Vert, the belt molding is different than the 64 piece that is repopped, the 63 and 65 Plymouth belt moldings are the same in fit, the only diffenence is the emblems, still can't figure what they are, on the 63. I'm using 65 belt moldings on my 63.

I don't know of any one repopping that piece!Will have to go for a used one!

Other question, does it lay on top as shown in pic or is it suppose to hook under the front lip? It doesn't appear as it would hook in my opinoin.
