I have a 1969 coronet convertible and am trying to figure out if I can use hardtop glass.I have what I believe to be original pass. side glass that I matched up perfectly to hardtop glass.? Am I missing something or? Anyone have a breakdown of what I need for the glass and stainless? A pic would be great. Thanks

Now I am wondering if the glass was switched out before I bought it. One window was in the trunk. Other window was down.HMMM?

Is far as i know, the glass is different. I need one door glass myself. I parted out two hardtop doors last year and the glass was different. The vert glass has a notch in the middle bottom were is attaches to the mech.

Have any pics of what it looks like?

This is the original door from my vert.

So I ordered 2 new door glass for the convertible. Are there any other parts in there that may not be correct for a convertible? I have the correct vent windows/frames.How about the door jamb window channel?

Curvature of the glass must also be different.

Not a 100 percent but im sure that the channel is the same. Were did you order the glass from. I looked before and could not find a company that makes it.

Jamie, let us know how the new glass fits. I need a drivers side piece for my '68 and that's the first place I've seen door glass listed for a convertible.

Although they have a listing for verts, the door glass part numbers are the same as HT. I did notice that 66 and 67 are different for door glass though.

Hmm, maybe I missed something but from what I read it shows a different part number for hardtops.I hope they are correct!

New glass is correct and fit great. I cannot vouch for the 68 glass though...

Jamie, did the new glass have the same curvature as original..

I never had the original to compare but it has less of a curvature than the hardtop one and matches the quarter window just fine.
