Convertible trunk springs interchange

Looking at a 70 Plymouth convertible as a parts car for some pieces I need for my 69 Satellite. I'm missing one of my trunk springs, are the springs from the 70 going to be the same?

Why would the springs be different from a hardtop?

I'm guessing due to top clearance when the top is down, but I don't know this to be a fact. Have just been told that they are different on a rag top

I'd go to a junkyard and get one from a hard top. How much can it cost and you could eyeball it and the mounting locations before you buy.

Should be the same, can take measurements off my 68 hardtop and 70 convertible if you need them. Just let me know

I was going to pick up the 70 for a parts car anyhow, I was just curious as to weather or not the springs would be the same as 69

Ponypower is parting a 68 vert in parting cars.

Yes same , 68-70. Converts are shorter or longer than hardtops, i have a spare set if anyone wants to send $$$
