please any information would be greatly appreciated,i am new to mopars this my first and do not know what i need to do or get to convert i have buckets already/ thanks
thank youWhen you take the bench seat out you'll have to put the buckets in and situate where they need to be. Mark, drill holes bolt down.. You''ll need to repair holes from the bench seat, i have no idea if the front hole on both sides of bench will match up to where you need the buckets to be. Ive never done it myself but outside of hole filling, placement of buckets and new holes ( make sure your not drilling thru something you shouldn't be!) you shouldn't have any problems as long as there going to fit right.. Is there something wrong with the bench seat? I think they look better, but thats me, its your ride... Id double check everything, make sure doors close right ect..
You will also need to change seat belt locations,
Someone whos done this may better explain exactly where.
Just did this on my wagon. The bucket seat tracks will go directly into the outer holes and there was actually two dimples one ach side for the inner holes that i just had to drill out and voila, in dropped the buckets. (Mind you this was on a 1974) so may not be the same.
i just dd this to my 1963 dodge 440, late 300 buckets, very simple, driller 4 holes, adjusted the inner sliders all the way down and the outter all the way up... they ook pretty good,,, but i like the bench look better, i'm swapping back this weekend...
What do you plan to do with the old buckets? Any interest in selling them?
