my son has a 69 charger project and wants to know what all that he would need to convert from auto trans to standard trans.

The only thing I would be concerned with, is if your engine had a hole in the crank shaft, for the pilot bushing. I ran into that with using a 73' 440 once.

There's a lot of small things you need it adds up your best bet is to buy a conversion kit there's some kits on eBay but again they're not 100% complete I did a lot of research on the subject before I bought my conversion kit for my charger and at first I was just going to order all the parts myself but didn't want to find out when I'm going together that I forgot a clip or something and can't do the conversion till it gets here then if your licks like mine it will be back ordered for 4 months. I had a guy I found out about threw the great vine (a few big names mopar guys told me about him) and he set me up with an entire kit every nut and bolt spring you name it it's here. You can pull your running driving automatic car in get this kit and with no more running to the store pull out with a stick (you need your own oil) if your interested let me know I'll get you his info his web site is

If it doesn't work let me know he just moved from n.j. to fl .And just got his new shop opened a few weeks ago so web site might not work p.m. if interested I have his email and phone number.
Also on price it was a little more up front cost then the cheap kit on eBay but you get everything the one online gives you a frw things. If you add up the cost of buying the parts here and there the cost adds up to be more because this guy gets discounts and pass' the savings on ,for instance there's a part I need for sale it's $175.99 in the catalogue ,he gets the part for $75.99 he marks it up a little to make his to $100 even and everyone is happy you saver $76 he made $24 and you don't need to guess if you got everything because he does it for you you just order a converson kit and pay him and everything will show up and he travels a lot so if your in route to a show or swap meet he will deliver everything free of charge(he did this for me ) saved me like $500-$600 for shipping
Good luck and p.m. me if you need further assistance
