When I start my car after sitting for a while(days)-and I go to put it in gear right away, it slips like I have a high stall convertor in it.
After it warms up for about 2 minutes everyting is okay-and atfer I have been driving it around and go to restart , I have no problems.

what is the issue?

sounds like your converter is draining back. once you start it up put it in nuetral right away and see if works better. if not i'm guessing a rear servo seal is going bad and your line pressure is low.ask me how i know

i would also have the bushing in the front pump replaced,.when tolerances get a bit loose,.fluid drains back into pan & pump has to re-fill the convertor ect..ect..
well good luck with it---Bob
p.s.-the bushing in mention is the convertor hub,.area--its pressed into the front pump--i think its a copper/brass type bushing...
