Its a street car like mine with a 400 in it. It is .030 over (406) with the steel 383 crank and KB pistons for 10.6 comp with the Eddy RPM heads. It has the MP .557 cam and the Performer RPM intake with a 750 DP. Nothing fancy just a nice basic combo. He uses a 727 with a Dynamic 9.5 converter and 3.91 gears. It has run a best of 11.45 @ 117. It was my car until I bought my 63 and then I sold it to him as it had a mild 383 in it when he got it. I built it to look like the 70 Swinger 340 as I like the looks of them with the dual scoops and the bumble bee stripe. This Dart is actually a 72 but we put a 71 grille in it as we like that better. Then we used a 400 shortblock my brother had and added the RPM heads and the rest of the top end. He can drive as good as me. When he got the Dart he was 18 and had never been down a dragstrip. The Dart ran a best of 12.30's with the 383 and his first ever 1/4 mile pass in it was a 12.46. Then he ran 12.44. I then took a pass and ran a best of 12.43 that day. I guess he just gets that touch from the old man ! :icon_cool: Thanks for the replies. Ron

Nice little BB Dart, I like the green paint, cool burn out shot, it sounds like a fun fast street/strip car...
