Coolant flow direction from Big Block to Heater core

Connecting heater coolant hoses from my Big to the Heater core. I read different people say it doesn't matter but my after market (Vintage Air ) system has a water valve that has a flow direction arrow on it. With all port sizes the same I need to know the flow direction out of the block to the heater core. Can any one help?

From my 1964 Dodge shop manual, as you are facing the motor, the left hand nipple on the water pump is to heater inlet. The heater inlet on factory 1964 heater is the right hand nipple on the fire wall.

Sheeeitt didn't see 62 to 65 my bad. Glad you corrected it. Added it to my file. Was harder to find in SM.
