Watching them do a 68 Charger. They are going over the body work as of now. Looks like they are doing the interior and suspension also.

If I am looking at the Cable schedule right they are doing part 2 next. Ray Burton is doing the power plant, most likely a Hemi. Don't know what trans or rearend they are going to use. They will most likely do a Tremec which is OK (i guess). I hope they put a Dana instead of the 9". No real reason, I just feel a Mopar car should have a Dana.


Is anyone else watching this or since it is a repeat has anyone seen this.

I think Kiesler is doing it a rare car I guess,but what roach.They did alot of resto mod but claimed it was a rare Charger.Huh???Thought Kiesler would preserve history.

I guess it depends on what you call preserving history. Most Kiesler installs require cutting the original floor and most people don't consider that preserving the car but rather turning on into a resto mod.

Ive been watching, or trying to for months, have some on a disk but its rerun after rerun. I see where they found it and all the body work, new panels, suspension and interior getting ready, part of the Hemi thats going in it, but yet have it all. One part is prepping body for primer, thats about as much as i have now. Id like to have it all, as far as "rare" im not sure about all this but they said the only one there would be? its like taking any car from the junk yard pictures in here and doing one, if the numbers say it is ok, but they go from Charger to Vette, then its rerun after rerun again, ive about gave up on it. How would you like to see one of the cars you love here being a project and starting in the middle then go to first part, then somewhere in the middle again ect. good project if they would do it right, even reruns could be put in order i would think!

I would "guess" that in the program they were saying it would end up being a "one of a kind" when done. Yes by definition because of this it would be "rare" but not in the terms that people think of it from a stand point of low factory original built cars.

Jerry, I have to agree with 696 on that. It seems like in one program they said just that. If you have ever seen the one on Hotrod TV "Hammer" a 1970 RR/GTX all originally from a Satellite its about the same. Then the one done by Barry White? 72 satellite/RR/Gtx. Look that up sometime, shes a beauty, plum crazy purple... Shift it from steering wheel if i remember right. That was a good show i seen on TLC. There one of a kind but rare would be a different thing, numbers will tell that, or should... And no, ive not seen the emblems yet anyway. Ron

Whole show isint really what you can call great. And doing two at once like that vette, I don"t care for at all, I hate vettes, 1/2 barret jackson is vettes, then Saterday night on Mecum, they sell/buy the ones that was on BJ. And thats my story im stickin to it. The whole of cable TV sucks, rerun after rerun, off button works great, i use it often, im not missing anything as i type, its all back on tonight.

I don't get those guys. They go on and on about how rare the car is; so instead of putting in a 426 hemi like one that would have came with the car, they are going with a newer 426 that is stroked.
Go figure.
