I just realized I did not paint the drip rail area on my Coronet well at all. I can't recall on a hardtop with a Vinyl top is there any paint showing when you look at the roof line once you have the top, headliner, chrome trim, weatherstrip and interior trim installed?

Jim the vinyl covers the drip rail channel , then the stainless trim goes on. as far as the bottom side of the roof /rail there may be aprox 3/8" to 1/2 " of paint that will show. You can get a 1/2 pint of single stage mixed and crank you gun way down pattern, fluid, and pressure and make some test shots .
then scuff the area with some 800 and mask her up good. I only mention single stage cause it will be a one time shot. base clear will work fine to and you prob have it still on hand.

Having a half pint of single stage and a little activator in your code is good to keep around. if you ever have to fix a scratch ect.
