Correct for Trunk "64"

Hi all. Body shop is finally finishing with my 440.

My question is for a 64 Dodge what was the correct finish from the factory for the inside of the trunk area?

Same color as car, or splatter paint ( not sure what it's called ) ?

My 64 Belvedere has the spatter type.Not sure on the Dodge.

should be spatter paint Joe. The underside of the trunk lid and weatherstrip channe is body color. I haven't done my spatter paint yet... still deciding.

Correct paint is zolatone code dx1734 available from tcp global gray with blue black and white I needed 2 qts to do my 64 dodge

100% correct. thats the correct way to do it.

so was it in 64 that they changed it........my 63 dodge is body colour in the trunk?

In my 64 Belvedere the trunk was sprayed with the cardboard divider in place.

Thanks for all the replys. When I purchased the car I also rec'd. 3 spray cans of the splatter gray/black/white paint, I just wanted to make sure what was correct. So splatter it will be.

The divider was installed when the trunk was painted! mostly overspray on the divider though.
