1963 Dodge 440 with a 383. Car has the A/C heater core in it still.
5/8 or 1/2"?? And while I am thinking about it....is there a set measurement for the alternator spacers??

I think the pressure side is 1/2 inch and the eeturn side is 5/8. Dont know the other question.

I measured the nipples at the WP and they both measure the same...

My dads 70 challenger rt 383 has 1 1/2inch and the other 5/8inch, and get this, they both use 3/8 npt. I just got home from his place (working on a stroker 440) and his original 383 is sitting in the corner and I'm robbing some of those brackets to use on the 440 and I noticed the heater nipples. Now I could be wrong, happened plenty of times, so says the wife, so what I'm saying is not gospel, but I'll check again tomorrow to confirm.

Just checked on this subject and 5/8 is correct for 64-69....70 was different, so 5/8 could be correct for your car.

Thank you sir.....greatly appreciated...
