cowl flap

As I was ordering other stuff from Summit I saw a cowl flap for a 67 B body, mine is a 67 Coronet. Since my car really leaks rain water a lot, seems like from entirely under the dash, I got one (5 bucks) thinkin it may be the leaking solution. Only problem is, shoot Im not even my car takes one. Cant find where it may go. Did I waste another 5 bucks?

Forget the cowl flaps and stick with meat flaps instead.

can you shoot a pic of it.just finished the dash in my 67 and i didnt see any spot for anything like that.
