Cragars for 64 Sport Fury

We want to put new Cragar SS back on the 64 Sport Fury. Back in the 70's the car had 14" Cragars. We want to put 15x7 wheels on the car. What is a correct range for back spacing? Thanks

4 1/4 - 4.5 backspacing

A 15x7 wheel is eight inches wide, so a 4" backspace puts the mounting flange dead in the middle of the wheel. Cragar offers exactly that bs in a 15x7 cragar ss. It will probably fit perfect, unless you go insane trying to fit a huge tire.

The reason he suggested 4 1/4 , it's the factory backspace on most , if not all 15 x 7 wheels that Mopar made. So if you can beg , borrow or steal a factory wheel , 15 x 7 , the you could do a trial fit to make sure of the clearances.
