Thanks for the warning. I had a buddy buy something over the counter from a local auto parts store with a credit card and soon after his card was hit for some amount that got his attention. Turns out it was an employee who hit his card shortly after he made the purchase. Seems nothing is safe.

Did your CC company help you out and reverse those charges?

I'm getting to the point where I don't use my credit card for person to person purchases much anymore....and especially not at any eateries.

Yes, I was contacted and they canceled my card and removed all changes. I still have the hassle of my card cancellation.

Same thing happened with me on an order with Classic Industries. The bank called me two days after I placed an order with them. Someone tried to buy 600.00 worth of concert tickets. This happened several days ago. I'm waiting on new card.:angryfire:

Well got my new cards within 72 hours. No more buying from those guys for sure.
