The Hiway went from Omaha through Sioux City , Wyoming, into Montana, and Glacier National Park. This 6" copper marker on a post somewhere in Wyoming, told people they were on the right road.

That’s pretty cool. I love that sort of stuff.
Most people are hung up on value, as if value made things cool. Heck, if that was the case it would be easier to just hang hundred dollar bills on the wall.
I like patina, and if an item has a cool back story that’s even better.
That plaque has both a neat story and patina.
