custm pistons for 906 or new stealth heads

I have 906 heads that weere milled down to 75cc nicely ported, giving me 10.78 to 1 compression , my goal is to run pump gas 9.5.1 , i called diamond to order custom pistons with a 15 cc dish the price was 1000-1200 so instead i just ordered new stealth heads , i did have them use the 10 degree locks instead of the 7 , do you think this was a wise move or should i have stayed with the 906 and the expensive pistons .

The 906 is a good head but out of the box stealth heads are supposed to flow as good if not better than mild ported 906's. I'd say you did OK.
