Just looking to see if there are any guys on here who have put in a badass stereo.

I want to put in a double din deck. Just looking for other ideas and options.

Nothing badass here but very happy. In today's time I no longer see the need for anything more than a digital media player so I bought a JVC head unit with dual RCA outputs, amp remote wire, etc. For speakers I used all Polks, 2 6 1/2s in the console and 2 6X9s in the package tray with a 100 Watt amp hidden behing the rear seat. The amp had extra output jacks so installing a secong amp and 10" woofers down the road will be a cinch. So all I can attest to is the Polks are way loud enough to hurt your ears before distorting and I'm in love with the dgital media player, I have my Android linked via Bluetooth and mostly listen to Pandora.

I run the polk audio like 747,does.I have the 61/2 in the door and the 6x9 in the package tray as well.I also run two ten inch polk subs and there amps. One channel 1000W for the subs and a 4 channel 400w for the component speakers.I made the mounts for the door so I didn't have to hack it up to get them in.When I made them I cut out the hole for the power windows. The system jams pretty good.

To install a double din receiver you will need to cut a larger mounting hole in your dash....sure you want to do that......can't go back once it is cut............check out Retro Sound....they have A renondo line of radios coming out in the spring for the late 60's & early 70's Mopars.....will have all the modern add ons, bluetooth, USB, Sat radio, RCA outputs to feed external amps and will fit in the stock dash mounting.

I put a kenwood touchscreen/Bluetooth head unit in, 500w amp and 1 10" woofer in trunk, 4x10 in front dash and 2 6x9's in package tray
