I am looking at adding some ladder bars for the 65 Plymouth Bel I... I added a Dana 60 awhile ago. The car will be street driven, but I am going for the look as much as anything. Does anyone make some ladder bars for my app or do I need to make some? HAs anyone made any I can get pics of? Thanks fella's!

Is yours a coil over car or are you going to run floaters?

I run Ladder bars on my 64. They're available from many sources, S&W, Alston, ETC. I would not run them on a street car. They don't flex for cornering. Leafs will work fine. How quick is the car? We've been 10.30 on stock (non S?S leaf) springs.

Get ahold of Matt Schrader in Newton. He can fabricate things like this for you. We talked about doing something similar on my '63 but I decided to just go with SS springs back then.

He did build a custom chassis for a '63 Falcon that had ladder bars with rubber bushings up front because the owner wanted to street drive it.

He's an amazing fabricator and is doing the chassis for Kelsey's '70 'Cuda.

Thanks for the info me... I will be in touch D330

Brian, I'd stick with the springs if you're going to drive it on the street! Like stated earlier the bars don't have much give for cornering! And also the coil over shocks are very costly!
