I don't know what happened to my original post as I saw this notification when I went to post how to get around it "Your thread Cut and pasting old ads.. was moved to a different forum." WHERE I don't know. I can only guess it got derailed by another member's irrelevant comment...
So I don't bump ads constantly, so my ads expire. That said the original post was about cutting and pasting old ads for parts not sold but when you do that the picture icon next to the ad does not show. I know @moparmarks mentioned he had the same issue. Joey chimed in and said it had to be a hotlink to show as the software doesn't pick-up copied photos and put them there. So what I did was go to the new ad, save the first picture on my phone and then go back and edit the ad by uploading that picture. The picture shows next to the ad and you just have a double of that picture in the ad at the bottom since that was the last picture loaded. Having the picture is not a necessity but a nice addition to the site to get your advertisement noticed. It saves a lot of time doing it this way rather than unnecessarily creating a whole new ad. I hope it helps other members who had the same small issue.
