i currently have a 67 model 440 with late model 452 88-89cc heads. I’m hunting for compression. I recently found a set of heads in a local classics graveyard. The casting number is 2463200-3. From what I gather is is a 63’ model b/rb 383/413 head with 73.5cc chambers. Would this head be worth it. Will they even mount to my 67’ 440 block? They would get me to the compression that I am looking for but will they restrict air flow. Looking for a little knowledge in this area.
 
Based on the limited information you have provided, the smaller chamber volume alone will increase your compression ratio. That said, if you have to redo the heads and you want larger valves, hardened exhaust seats etc. You'll be further ahead by purchasing some new aluminum heads.
 
Edelbrock e streets are a good bang for the buck, I believe you can get them with 75cc chambers
 
I sure wouldn't. Poorer airflow, nothing says they are really 70-something cc, mopar typically lied about chamber size and compression ratio in those days, and most of all, no hardened valve seats and unknown condition. Potentially $500-$700 to make them usable.
Do you know what compression you have now? And how far do you want to go. It could be as simple as changing to a thin steel shim gasket, or getting the heads you have milled. Easier and cheaper than redoing unknown heads.
Ideal would be some smaller chamber modern aluminium heads-better flow,new parts, less weight. Even chinese pro-comps would be preferable to 55 year old unknown castings.
As an aside, i put $900 into 55year old iron castings myself recently .... but they were beautifully professionally ported 63 max wedge castings, 16 new valves, guides,springs, surface and valve job. Are the ones you are looking at worth that much effort?
 
If you go with those early heads believe they have rocker stands. Be sure to take them, the rocker shafts go through them.
Agree with others go with after market heads for a few dollars more.
 
As I remember the heads with the smaller cc chambers also have a reduced flow through the exhaust port due to valve and port size. if you drive like me and rarely hammer it you probably would never notice, saves money for other stuff. but if you do drive like it like you stole it opt for the e-street heads as 67coronet 440 says
 
I bought the aluminum heads from Marsh Performance. Total was $1299 with valves fully assembled. Ready to run with 10 degree locks and name brand parts. Lots of choices, these fit my needs and budget.
 
In the scheme of things compression has far less effect on the engine than airflow. A high compression engine with low airflow will make a lot less power than a lower compression engine with good airflow.
If you want engine efficiency choose airflow over compression.
As others have said the modern port/combustion chamber design makes new heads a good choice.
If you do not intend to do intake and exhaust you may not gain very much at all.

what happened to the 67 heads?
They are really the only factory closed head wort considering although the slightly earlier 440 heads can be used but they port differently than the 915's (OK max wedge would work)
that said I have a half dozen sets of 915's with new guides and hard exhaust seats and can't sell them for what I have in them nor do I recommend them except for a 67 restore build
maybe for a matching number restore but that's it
FYI rocker arm rebuilders/ now specialists in Nor Cal can rebuild the stands and shafts if someone wants to/ has to run these
good news is that it's easy to adjust rocker arm geometry
