Hello,
anyone have any imformation on Brotix cylinder heads. Thinking these would work nice on my 426 street wedge. Also I need Ideas on what kind and what cc's.Can anybody help? Dave L

As said above ^^^

You want to look for Edelbrock, Indy, Stealth, etc.. But whatever you do don't put a Chevy engine in your MoPar just so you can use Brodix heads.

Dave ,after reading over your various post I get the impression that you are trying to keep your car somewhat original appearing. It that is the case why don't you just get a set of 516 heads, very easy to find, have them done right and be done, you'll also save yourself a considerable amount of money you can use elsewhere. On a street driven car you will see no difference those and a set of high priced race heads and their components.

brodix makes 2 heads for a b engine. the b1 was originally a prostock head and would cost a bunch of money to set up for and probably would be a poor head for anything that will be driven regularly. there is another brodix head with the intake port in the stock location and a raised exhaust port. another expensive niche type head when compared to an edelbrock or 440 source. it all depends on what your going to do with the 426.

Hello Jim,I too was surprized when I learned Brotix was making mopar heads Dave L

All you guys seem to know what you are taking about probably from experince. So i'm open for opinions.I know the 516 heads is the one that belongs on the 426 SW.I have been looking for heads for some time infact there a set of 516 on FBBO now but no shipping. The trouble that I see is the frost plug in the front of the heads all the others have one. Most mopar guys have a trained eye for seeing wrong parts.Would puting 906 head on my car hurt the apperance.I like performance like the next guy the car will have ceramic header instead of the log manifolds. Thanks Dave L
