I'm in the process of replacing my truck box and fenders on my '05 Dakota AWD/4x4. Got a rust-free bed and re-pop fenders. While I have the box off the truck, will be blasting the frame and coating it...checking on some things to do while it's off. Among the items is putting on new rear shocks. Anyone have suggestions on what sort of shocks I should install?
Will see about what else may need attention - tempted to put in a new fuel pump even though it's fine, new tank straps, lines need be...and on. Best truck I've owned, Laramie model well-optioned and 84k on it. After checking prices for trucks decided to do some rebuild on mine.
Thanks

I would just buy some monroe gas magnums.

Rancho RS9000XL.
I've run these on a 2006 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon.
I'm thinking since your truck is a 4x4, you'll
appreciate the shocks' adjustability. They
worked great for me.
