I am not only a newbie to the forum but also a newbie to reconditioning a car. Why in the world did I start with a 1967 GTX when parts are so hard to find?

Because they're cool.

Welcome! I don't know where the rumor started that refurbishing rare 57 year old cars should be super easy!
The difficulty is the rewarding part!

OK. I'l say it-

Let's see the car.

Welcome from Alabama, we need to see your project GTX. Also a little more information and needs.

I’ve never seen someone pick a restoration project based on parts availability. Sometimes the project almost picks you. Welcome to the forum from Prescott, Arizona

Welcome to FBBO from NorCal Sierras

Welcome from another '67 GTX owner !!
Let's see some PIC's and we'll help out when needed.
You'll be smiling and driving soon, good luck with your project.
