Lot's of parts swapping occurred in the '70's. Thanksgiving weekend 1971 a group of us swapped the entire drivetrain from a buddy's '70 Barracuda 383 4bbl, 4 spd, 8 3/4 & leaf springs into his buddy's '70 Challenger RT SE triple black which had a Hemi, 727, Super Trak Pack. Which of course went into the Barracuda.
My '70 Barracuda Gran Coupe 383 2bbl got many parts that didn't come with it from the factory, including limited slip pumpkin, dual exhaust, aftermarket intake & 4bbl.

My brother swapped his 8 3/4 for a Dana in 1971.
He had a 68 Coronet R/T. Had a friend that was trading in his 69 1/2 Six Pack Super Bee.
Back yard swap before the Bee went by-by.
Have known Steve for years. I like his work.

I had a guy come by... and offered to give me $500 for the Dana in my V code 4 speed Charger. He even said he’d put an open 8 3/4 back in, out of his ‘66 Coronet that he wanted the Dana for. I kindly informed him that as cool as his Coronet might be... I’m keeping the Dana in the Charger.
