Does anyone know if you can swap out 23 spline side gears in a '70s Dana 60 Powerlock with 30 or 35 spline side gears? I've heard that the carrier case halves don't have large enough diameter holes to accept the bigger 35 spline (or even 30 spline) axles or side gears. Do you have to replace the 4 pinion mate gears and clutch rings when replacing the side gears? Any help would be appreciated.
