Dana 60 question

Several years ago I bought a Dana 60 that had been narrowed. It has a flat pad for a pinion snubber, but no holes drilled for mounting. I'm guessing this was a truck rear end, but didn't think trucks had a pad. Thanks for your help.

The 4 Dana 60 truck rears I have do not have the pad for the snubber. One of the 4 is a Dana 60HD.
