I do have a new S60 with all of the tricks including the new 3.23 gear set from Doctor Diff. It might be a few weeks before I get it installed in the car. Right now I'm working on the new EFI setup. Once I get the EFI up and running I can move to the back of the car and swap out my factory Dana 60 for the new S60 setup.
Never have much minded using the 3.54 and 29" tall tires. It pretty much gives you the 3.23 but, a 3.23 with the same tire will give you a better highway ratio. I've used 2.76's behind big blocks many times (8 3/4) and it's almost as good as an OD. Thing is, there's nothing like having deep gears AND the OD
I have a Doug Nash 5 speed in my car so the 3.23 gears will be nice on the freeway. My rear tires are 28 inches tall. First four gears in the Doug Nash will be like have a 4.0 rear gear and then fifth gear gives me the 3.23 ratio. So same as an OD setup but driveshaft speed is lower. Around town and at the track I just use the first four gears. Out on the highway I shift into 5th gear.
