I went to install my new double beadlock rims with new GTR E/T streets and the beadlock ring does not fit over the finned Dana drums. I have a friend that feels he can machine the fins off the drum,I found some smooth drums but these guys are nuckin futz with their pricing.If plan "A" doesn't work then I will put rear disc on:BangHead:

Sorry no help in locating the smoothies

BUT;
IMO If the price is too high, to keep the drums,
that's justification for going to disc.'s
well in my distorted brain it is...LOL

Willwood {at min. use the Willwood prop. 4 way valve}
Baer
etc. etc. etc.

all have decent kits for between $400 & $1000 {or more}

If you don't have green bearings already,
most require them, some are adj. tapered bearing compatible too

Someone has a post claiming to have a set of smooth dana drums. Was posted last week, but now came not find it.

If my drum mod doesn't work out,what disc brakes you guys using that fits a beadlock ring

what is the inner diameter of the ring ?

I haven't used any beed-locks in a while now,
my last ones were on my altered & they were
Wilwood old single puck style, no e-brake etc.,
you had to angle the rim to get it over the lip
after that point no issues....

It's not really street worthy, I wouldn't think...

Off hand without looking,
sorry I can't remember whose brand, BUT
there are a few with 10.5" rotors & smaller calipers w/e-brakes
BUT 75% of the barking out front anyway...

make sure to check the balance on the drums after cutting.can cause a vib if out bad enough.

Love to see the end product. This should be interesting. I think your attention to detail is fabulous.
