Dangerous Dan Toler won't be down for breakfast...

Wow,
He replaced Dwayne or Duane Allman after he died from a motorcycle accident ...
Dangerous Dan came "on-board" around 1980?

PS: ALS is a terrible way to go!

He played in one of the greatest bands there efer was. RIP Dan

Naw, nobody replaced Duane. Actually, Dickie Betts move into that position. He learned to play slide guitar on the bus on the way to their first concert shortly after Duane's death. In fact, that first concert after Duane's death was in Macon, Georgia and is set to be released on CD this year. Never been released. Dan played with the band startin about 1979. Duane was killed in 1971, then Berry Oakley in 1972. There have been a lot of incarnations of the ABB through the years.

RIP Dan. Allman Bros are for sure on my desert island collection because that is some of the best music ever created.

Yup, ALS is a terrible way to go....may he rest in peace now....

Rusty, we need to get together and listen to some music. Daaym.
