I just purchased a new book from Darrwll Davis. It covers every Max Wedge, both Plymouth and Dodge from 62-64 by VIN and options. If you are looking at a car that is supposed to be a max wedge, this is a must have. They are in very limited supply, so if anyone wants one, check on Greg Lane's website
www.maxwedge.com

Just bought the last Serial number book;the complete volume is sold out. I may add the 64 Dodge and Plymouth books, depending on how much info the one I ordered has.

I go to Greg's site often, and have had the pleasure of having phone conversations with him. Good guy;I hope he's doing well.

I too check Greg's site often. I just happen to look at it while having coffee, and saw the mention of Darrell;s new book. I went to Darrell's Ebay store and saw there were only two left. I bought one on the spot. I think there will be such a demand that he will have more printed.

Looks like you and I got the last two. I wonder if the full compilation(listed as "sold out" on Greg's site) will be re-printed? Demand would seem to dictate that it should be.

If I am reading it correctly, there is one copy left on the Darrel Davis Ebay Store. His screen name is plym. It is a must have if you own a max wedge or hope to in the future so you don't get fooled.

skyman51, Thanks for this info. I bought the last copy on ebay.

Just got mine today;you guys are going to really appreciate Mr. Davis' work. Mine is the "Max Wedge Serial Number Book";great info. Found out that the Dodge body I had was one of 20(verified what I had read/seen/been told before) 440-trimmed high-compression hardtops. All the known codes for each serial # are in there,so verifying a car should now be easy. All I need is to get rich and get me one...a car, that is.

Here I thought I got the second to last copy. It came a couple of days ago and there is a handwritten note from Darrell that I got the first copy printed, and sure enough at the bottom it says Vol. #001.

I have bought a few of his books. I have the 63 Plymouth Max Wedge and 63 Dodge Max Wedge books. I also have the 64 Plymouth Max Wedge and Hemi book. Ron

Mine's #002,with Darrell's initials. WAY cool![/QUOTE]
