I guess I let the sun get to hot on the dash of my challenger. It stretched the vinyl is there a trick to push it back in and make it stay? Will try super glue as last option.
Thanks
Geez...not that I know of. I "guess" it would worth a try to remove the center vents, coat underneath with a urethane "mastic" adhesive (liquid nails or similar) & see if there's a way to clamp it down while it cures (dries)??? Worth a shot I guess. See what other interior experts think though....oh yeah, regardless if you have to replace the dash or can repair it, I think you need a sun visor for you dash....ouch! That's a bummer.
I wouldn't use super glue, I don't think it would hold up. You might try 3M black weatherstrip adhesive. If it lays back down easy with your hand, it should hold it. If it's getting stiff and brittle from the heat, it may not hold either. Not sure where Bernice is but from what I remember, summer in Louisiana is brutal!
Looks like you're going to need to clamp it down some how after you apply an adhesive. I've used 3M urathane windshield adhesive when nothing else works better,
