dash lites and turn signals

1965 dodge coronet wen I turn on head lights or parking lights turn signal lights turn on and glow. only other lights come on are heater control buttons. also temp. and gas gauge move. whats up?

I 2nd the grounds! I had same issues with headlights and hood lights until I fixed the grounds.

3x if you have access to a shop manual, check what switches need additional grounding other than the clamp ring to the dash. If I'm not mistaken, the headlight and the heater switches need dedicated grounds and have a male spade for that purpose.

I had a shorted front turn signal bulb do that. The dash indicators are tied to the front signal bulbs. Was an odd one to track down.
