Looking for some opinions on dashboard colour combinations for my 64 Polara convertible. The car is blue (EE originally) that was repainted Maserati blue that has a faint metalic to it. I've just painted the engine bay after repairing the cowl and replacing the inners, matching the paint to thd rest of the car. While the dash is out, I plan to repaint it. It looks original two tone EE blue on top and aqua below. I not sure i like it this way and was considering to paint it all in the blue to match the car. The seats are light blue as is the plastic trim but the door panels are two tone. The carpet it a darker blue that doesn't really match either. Any pics of yout dashboards would be helpful!

I'm having mine painted to match the car but with a flattening agent added to kill any glare. The lower section will remain gloss.

I painted my dash to match the door panels and seats. Base coat clear coat with a flattening agent on the top.

Looks great in red!
My door panels are two tone and the steering wheel is aqua so I'm not sure painting the whole dash and column dark blue will look right.

Are your two tone panels dark on top and lighter on the bottom? My original red ones were like that. I have seen the top of the dash match the top colour of the door panels and the bottom of the dash match the bottom colour of the door panel.
