Even drag racing national events ain't cheap. Used to go to a lot of races but the free tickets dried up. My last truck race was in Texas and had VIP tickets to the whole place and that was pretty cool. Have a good time!!

The Daytona races were all pretty good this year. Only four cautions in the Cup race, and no incidents that take out half the field, so all in all, a good race. Plus, I actually stayed awake for the whole race, and that is a first!

Stay awake? I couldn't even stay interested this year. Turned it off at lap 15 and turned it back on with 30 laps to go. It's getting more and more like watching a moving traffic jam with some accidents here and there. Those at the front are going to stay at the front because there's really no way for anyone to come up on them. What's even worse was the incessant efforts of the broadcast crew doing their best to make a boring race seem exciting. No Waltrip... watching the same few drivers swap the lead over and over again for hours on end is not the greatest racing ever.

I'm sure fans of the top four or five drivers love restrictor plate racing, but it sure sucks for everyone else.

They should have it like it was years ago, like we raced when we did, bring what you have and go for it, i seen some practice laps with these cars and without the paint and decal condoms on it, the only way you know whos who is the numbers... I wont watch them any more myself, its boring....
