Daytona air cleaner

was wondering if all 68/69 Dodge and Plymouth silence? air cleaners where the same? they just changed the pie plate for engine size? Meaning would a Plymouth RR 69 383 4 barrel air cleaner fit the 440 Daytona? Just change the pie plate?

"1968-69 340, 383 and 440 4-Barrel unsilenced except early 1968 models. Mopar Performance reproduced these in black wrinkle (P4529001) and chrome (P4529002 or P4529025) but factory units were always black wrinkle."
They are the same. The air grabber fresh air type oval are different in height because of the difference in block height, and the 383 needs a taller base to align with the fresh air system.

If you are are looking for more clearance for a different intake on a RB engine, you'll need a dropped base for the same round air cleaner, and Mancini sells them Mancini Racing "Low Pro" Air Cleaner - Black
