Good day, all.

We are still getting freezing rain in central Oklahoma. It will continue through Sunday if the temps stay below freezing. It's 30 F now.

Here are a few snap shots of my back yard, 3 rows of icicles on mine and my neighbor's house, my Ford and my neighbor's Dodge.

I had one tree limb that grew since one of the tornadoes that snapped off in the back yard. All our power lines are below ground in Moore. So, fingers crossed, the power will continue to stay on.

Wow. Just got word from two friends who were driving from Arizona to West Virginia. They got caught in this storm in Sayre, Oklahoma. Their car veered off the road, down a 30 ft embankment and flipped several times. The roof was torn off and everything was thrown out onto the icey snow. They both lost consciousness and by the time they came to, their dog and cat went missing. What a crazy story.

I'm sorry that happened to your friends and hope they are OK. The ice is gone from the roads but still lingering on the ground and anything above it. The wind picked up and I lost another tree limb yesterday. It looks pretty but can be damaging. I'll be glad when it all melts.
