Gents, looking for deck lid torsion spring rods for my Coronet. Anyone know where I might find them, I have been searching for months. Also, would any other year, make or model work for my Coronet or are they specific? Thanks a million for your consideration.

Respectfully,
Mopar Bradd

62-65 will work. Also if you feel like updating, gas struts will work.

Gotta figure where you want them mounted. Then measure for the total length and how much stroke you’ll need. The google gas struts and start looking for some that fit your requirements. Don’t forget about the force. Those deck lids are huge, so take that into account.

There's plenty of '62-'65 parts cars that come across this site. I'm sure you could find some, with a bit of searching, and probably some close enough for reasonable shipping, or pick up...

I have a few sets of rods if your interested. Are you going to the Fall Fling? I can deliver a set.
Thanks for getting a hold of me. I think I am going to go to the fall fking. What year are your rods out of?

there was a member parting out a 65 b bodies @jefferymopar . he had alot of items from the car . give him a try .

NO **** Ed. Was in the middle of working a deal with the guy and Pomonamissle chimes in and says to buy them from someone else. Pretty rude. Must be a California thing.
Funny thing is that Pomonamissle was asking me for some trim which I didn't think I had. Digging thru my trim today I found it but think I'll sell it to someone else. Funny how that works.

i'd say no , he may not have them anymore , just put it out there . well its funny thats the way you see it . just letting members here know about some parts , that may or may not be there at all . and there was another member here that chimed in and sold me his 63 fury moldings . i was not stepping on any ones sell . just informing . please be kind to me , just my nature to help out others . sorry moparmarks still hope you can help the member out with parts .

Funny that I see it how? Said I had some and could bring them to the Fling. He says that he is going to the Fling. Awesome. He ask what year they are from . I replied that I have all years. Then you say give this other guy a try. What is so hard to understand? Am glad you found your trim.

The same has happened to me, not by any one mentioned here. One of the reasons I don't sell on the boards any more.

Just for ya'll's information, it's not a California thing...I've had sales fall through because of an 'expert' member's negative comment, when I thought comments on For Sale items were against the site rules to post... Think twice before you post might make the site function better.

I was being sarcastic.
Also the op posted this in the general section, not the classifieds.
1) Sarcasm: A sharply mocking or contemptuously ironic remark intended to wound another.
Thus my remark about your sarcasm...
2) Yeah, I know that. Still think it had relevance...
