Yep! I was told that M07 code being present with the WH23 code would mean it's definitely a spring special, I'm not sure how many of those were built but I know I've only ever seen a few besides mine, including that blew one you showed. Also - it was mainly a dress up package, right? because my car has almost all the interior pieces and the grille inserts a Special Edition would've had, despite it being a base?

No! Spring special is a package that COULD get the M07 quarter glass but is not part of the package. Spring Special Package is A77 on code and it got am special vinyl and cloth interior treatment, body colors were tipicaly brownish shades and the standard rallye stripe was the Bronze one. Standard cluster too, not rallye. Yes is just a trim package, nothing performance

grill inserts can be added on any grill. Or maybe the grills were changed for the SE ones someday in the past.

and here the advertising from the Spring Special models, where is shown a regular Hardtop and make mention of the Opera window as an option

I see... I heard they had special interiors but I've also seen another one that had an interior like mine, lemme see i can find it and get a pic of my own

yes, Once I found an Spring Special with full Vinyl maybe ? setup on ebay. Or cloth and vinyl but all parchment, and the fender tag was A77. I guess you can get what you pay after all. But just talking about the standards

Alright here’s a pic of my interior (taken before I cleaned the carpeting and seats up) and a pic of those grilles I was talking about. Also a pic of the car from “back in the day” when it was new, with the chrome wheel well opening trim and the side stripes

well as mentioned the Spring specials are normally "brownish" body colors what will match with parchment interiors

From an attachment recently posted talking about the same

Huh. That's pretty interesting. So mine is a celeb roof car but not a spring special after all - that package, with the earthy colors and interior treatment, sounds so 70s i love it.

Here's the one I was talking about, it's a spring special car without the interior makeover and no stripes- or at least the seller said so, maybe just celeb roof?
