Tons of people are asking me since I mentioned in a post, I found a suitable defroster duct solution for my 66 charger non ac car. People wanted crazy prices for nos and used ones in good shape.

You'll have to excuse my crap pics and I'm going to machine a nice little piece of aluminum or use a fender washer but for 42 bucks to your door and using nuts and washers I found in my home garage and not at my shop to test fit them, I picked up some from oldairproducts. They are 1/2 inch short of the studs on both sides (11 inches total length) BUT looking down into the dash they fit perfect there are no gaps.

Hope this helps someone. I'm gonna see how well a fender washer holds so this may be a true "bolt in" lol deal. Before I machine a small aluminum tab. Either way when they come you can take them off the ring to angle them away from the glove box liner and speaker.
