Detailing a vinyl top??

i've never had a vinyl top car before and am clueless as to detailing and preservation. I haven't touched it yet. wipe it down with Armoral?? Its not dirty now but when it gets there a gentle wash with a light brush and dishwash fluid?

I was at a car show last year, and a guy with a Chevelle convertible was parked next to me. It had a white top on it and it was just sparkly. When he told me the top was put on in the 1980s, I asked him how he kept it looking so good, and he told me it used to look like crap until he started using those Mr. Clean Magic Erasers on it. He said he cleans the top and his interior with them, and both really looked great.
