Here's a few more pictures of Dick Landy's '68 D700 my friend is restoring here in L.A.,I took these pics a few months ago. He's currently working on the cab...the prior owner butchered it up pretty bad, plus the rust on the roof rails needed to be repaired. He was attempting to find another crew cab complete to swap but hadn't had any luck....so he decided to repair the original. These shots are of the freshly rebuilt industrial 413 and trans/chassis. Once the cab goes back on then the bed/ramp portion will be removed and restored. I have several 100 more pics of the progress....but it's mostly detailed pics for reference. ABSOLUTELY AWESOME!! Glad to see this one didn't get lost by the wayside. Keep 'em commin'!!!

lookin nice! btw, what is that compressor looking deal on the front of the engine, a/c?
i was also taken astray by that RV in the background :)

Thanks!, glad you enjoyed the pictures. That is a compressor...for the air brakes. The RV in the background is a 1974 FMC....they came from the factory with a rear mounted 440, several celebrities (including Clint Eastwood owned these in the 70's. They're extremely rare, It has about 75,000 miles on it and it is for sale.

Here's a shot of the truck in 1970. This is what it'll eventually look like again.
