Did some hardware upgrades to the server last night - please let me know if anything is acting funny.

You should notice the site being a little faster.

Joey... Thanks for all your efforts & making this the best forum on the WWW

Seems to be working well on this end of the string.

You mean if the website is acting funny, not the members here, right? It seems to be doing better than it was a couple nights ago. Thanks Joey.

Actually I thought it was pretty damn fast already .. what are some people still on dial up? There's way too many pixels here for that. I see no diff although it wasn't slow for me on cable modem but I'm still glad the subscription updates are back to providing the comments posted.

Thanks again brother.

Never really noticed any problems on my end except when my service provider was acting up!
Fine job you are doing Joey!!
And Thanks for the great Forum.

It wasn't slow "yet" but there were times where the site was getting heavy traffic and it was starting to slow up, so the hardware changes I made were mostly a pre-emptive upgrade. Just me trying to stay ahead of the curve and prevent significant problems. Basically, performance should be more stable, and we shouldn't have those little moments of sluggishness anymore.

that's why this is the best damn site on da intranet! Management is pro-active, not re-active!!

thanks again, Joey

We are when we can be :) Its almost always easier to deal with problems before they are problems.
