different rallye dash's

I have 2 rallye dash clusters, on the first one the rpm gauges has the numbers 5 to 55 going around the clock. The second cluster has the numbers 0 to 8 around the clock and has an rpm x 100 at the bottom and a metal housing on the rear, behind the tach. Are these from two different years or style cars. Looking for the correst one for my 68 charger. Thanks

pics would be helpful...but to me what you are describing is a rallye dash clock( 0-55)....and a tic toc tach...(tach and clock combo). im not sure if they are from 2 different year or styles of charger, but i believe they were options for that year. can someone who knows more about this elaborate???

exactly what i thought.....one is a tic toc tach...and the other just a rallye clock. do they work?

They are in really good condition, so i think they work, im gonna send the one i use, probs tic toc, out to auto instruments to get restored. Is one rarer than the other??

yes, the tic toc tach is. very sought after , i just replaced all the gauges, speedo and tic toc tach in my 70 RR. i replaced them because they were all yellowed and old looking. i sold the tic toc tach to a dude on here for 150.00. usually the clocks in them dont work. my new repro was 359.99 and works like a charm.!
