I know I've been posting several questions here lately and I hope I'm not pestering y'all, but I appreciate the knowledge.
Anyways, I'm wondering if anyone know the dimensions of the rear bumper mounting brackets for a 1969 Dodge Charger? Trying to save a few dollars I'm thinking of trying to fab these brackets up instead of spending $150-$200 on these brackets.
Any advice would be appreciated, even if you think it's not worth the trouble for me to try and build these.

Are you referring to the braces in the trunk for the rear bumper? If so I had to build these for one of mine. It was at a time you couldn't purchase them. Even with that I would still make them myself.

Time is money. What do you have more of? You might ask around here and see if anybody has some as well.

If you have decent metal work skills it is not that difficult. I took one original, flattened it completely out and made a template. it is only a matter of multiple bends, two holes for the bumper bolts, one small hole on the top and a notch on the top lip.

I checked to see if I had a set left but I do not. However, I may have that original template if you need it. I also recall I made them out of a little thicker "American" steel for added support.

Any chance you could send me the measurements? They look pretty straight forward to make and I think I'll give it a shot.

I looked around and even used ones go for over $100. Just seems crazy to me. Doesn't look like it would take me that long to make. Maybe I'll make a post and see if I could pick some up cheaper. I wouldn't mind paying a round $50 or so. I'm definitely not in a big hurry.

I will check this weekend and get back to you.
