Not being a fan of the can of fix-a-flat spare in the newer cars, looking at putting a full size spare in one. Question is, would putting a spare complete with a TPS sensor in the spare screw up the vehicle's tire pressure monitoring system?
If so am I correct in assuming a spare without a TPS sensor that is on the vehicle would only result in the tire pressure idiot light staying lit? All answers appreciated. Vehicle in question is 21 Scat Pack Challenger.

The systems are designed to read just 4 sensors. I haven't heard of an extra one in a spare tire. No need to put a sensor in the spare.

Spend your money on something else. For the ultra rare time you have a flat away from home the spacesaver is just fine. When's the last time you had a flat on the road.

Just the point, 2021 has no space saver, just the inflator. :(
