Disc brake Anti chatter paste

Do i need anti chatter paste if my disc brake pistons have rubber boots on them. Thanks

I used to buy that crap every time I got new pads, and would forget to use it. I must have 20 or so packets of it in my rollaround tool box. It's there and I've never had chattering pads.

only thing we use here at the shop is the spray glue for the back of the pads.even then it is just a precaution.make sure to lube the caliper slide points though.
