Ok gents I need some help. I was ordering my front end parts (tie rod ends, lower ball joints etc.) I have tubular control arms for the upper. The car (68 charger) had drum brakes. I want front power disc brakes. I have a 73 charger I was parting out. I thought I could use the factory power disc out of that for my 68. I just looked and the lower ball joint as well as the strut bars are different. So what is the best way to go? And do I need to have different front spindles then? Will it take different parts to where I need to hold off buying my front end parts? Hopefully some one that has changed over can throw some lite on this. Having to buy a new set up will change my budget a lot for this build.
Thanks in advance.

Use the spindles (w/disks and calipers) only from the 73. (the 73 lower and upper control arms are completely different and will not swap to the 68)
Remove the steering arm (which the 73 lower ball joint bolts too) and your lower ball joints (which is an integral part of the steering arm) will bolt up to the 73 spindle.

Thanks, I had already ordered the whole front rebuild for the car with out thinking that far ahead. But didn't want the drum brakes that are on the car.
