I'd like to put a set of disc brakes on the front of my charger but I can't afford the kits so what car can I pull brakes off of to use Thanks

a body's will work or 71 up charger or volare

73-76 A body will get you into a single piston caliper and unihub rotor. It's the most popular sway on the earlier cars. It's also getting very hard to harvest at the local pick and pull.

73 and up B body, along with F-M-J bodies have an adaptable spindle that uses the same rotor and caliper. Cordobas are my fave picks because they usually come with the larger rotors.

There is some concern in some circles about the height difference between the correct A body spindle and the later spindle which came about due to changes in K-member mounting and lower ball joint changes. I've run both and haven't had a problem. But, it is worth mentioning.

If you search out companies like Scarebird, they have lo-buck adapter kits, but I have not personally used them (that I'm aware of), so I can't vouch for the quality or durability. I'm not opposed to them, just haven't used them.

If you do a search on disk brakes on this forum you will find a lot of info.
